Competition Cheerleading Registration Try-Outs

May 4th, 2024, 9am-Noon

@ The Rock Athletics

This registration is for those participants interested in Competition Cheerleading Tryouts only.  All interested cheerleaders who will be in 3rd Grade to 7th Grade are eligible to participate.

 

Here’s a checklist of things that must be done prior to tryouts:

  • - All cheerleaders MUST be registered with Fayette County Community Youth Football and Cheer prior to evaluations . This is for insurance purposes. No exceptions will be made.  Registration will not be accepted at the door.
  • - All cheerleaders must have a signed waiver on file with The Rock Athletics. If your cheerleader does not currently attend classes at The Rock Athletics, please plan to accompany your child into evaluations, so a form can be completed. Only those cheerleaders with a form on file will be allowed to participate in evaluations.
  • - All cheerleaders must pay a $25 evaluation fee for the use of The Rock Athletics during evaluations. This must be paid at the time of registration.
  • - Cheerleaders need to wear the following to evaluations:
    • All Black shorts
    • White shirt
    • Hair pulled into high pony tail with bow
    • Cheer/athletic shoes and no show socks
  • Be prepared to practice two times a week for two hours each practice.  These are Mandatory practices. 

If your child is selected to one of the competition teams, the cost of Competition Cheer fee this year is $960.00.  This fee includes practice time at The Rock Athletics, choreography clinic, competition bow, practice bow, T-shirt, competition fees, insurance, music, and uniform rental.  Cheerleaders will be responsible for purchasing shoes and bloomers separately from the registration fee.  A payment plan is available.

We are a 501(c)(3) charity  and  the  donations from sponsors are tax-deductible .  These donations  help to off set the costs of equipment, player insurance, coaches training, and many other operational expenses.

Benefits for Sponsors - When approaching potential Sponsors be sure to do the following:  

Make sure you’re focusing on “what’s in it for them” and not just the benefits for our program.  As an individual or local business involved with FCCYF,  the sponsor will benefit by being recognized for their  goodwill and  community support through a sponsor branding package.  The sponsor will spend far less than the price of a full-page ad in any publication and the brand recognition and loyalty that they will receive will make a strong impression on their prospective patrons.  They will appear on signs, website, newsletters and other promotional efforts of FCCYF.

Platinum Sponsor - $500

  • Announcements at all home games

  • 3' x 4' field banner w/ company's logo prominently displayed at entrance of Riley Field

  • Home Page listing on FCCYF website and boosted Facebook/Twitter pages year long.

Gold Sponsor - $400

  • Announcements at all home games

  • 3' x 4' field banner prominently displayed near entrance of Riley Field

  • Priority listing on FCCYF Website and social media.

Silver Sponsor - $300

  • 3' x 4' field banner near entrance to Riley Field

  • Listing on FCCYF youth football website and social media
